Palatal Expanders

Occasionally our pediatric patients require a fixed or removable palatal expander, which widens the upper jaw as they grow. Palatal expanders gently widen the jaw over a period of six to nine months, correcting problems before they emerge, including underbites, crowding, and crossbites of the back and the front teeth.
